
Resuming monthly sing-along sessions on Zoom was also challenging as unlike webinars, ASA sessions are very interactive. Having band members play their respective instrumental parts separately and putting everything together was a daunting task. The NUSS band, Silver Jam, faithfully partnered them in producing the accompaniment.

With absolutely zero experience, some members happily volunteered but not all persevered to complete their individual videos. However, this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, an eHomecoming event was held and ASA was invited to contribute an eHomecoming sing-along video. Then, NUS Alumni Sing-Along (ASA) members belted out songs sung from the 1940s to 2019. It is definitely easier to sing along and that makes it worth the purchase. I am not as familiar with playing in 3 #'s so that wasn't a positive for me, but not the publishers problem. I wish the paper was a better quality as I'm afraid it won't last with all the page turning you do during sing alongside. Has a variety of songs including Christmas. This makes it more difficult for me as a "nonprofessional pianist" because I like playing with fewer sharps and flats. I understand that you have written them in a lower key to accommodate the older lower voices. It's a wonderful collection of songs that most of us older folks remember from our past. My only disappointment is that songs aren't in order according to songbook volumes.

Very nice, relatively easy for average piano player, helpful chords for guitar. I surprised them with a Father's Day gift. Their older version was in the process of dying.

Plus, these songs are fun and cover all the seasons of the year. This is especially valuable for those who have dementia as they sing familiar songs, they are sometimes able to access their speech and engage. This book is awesome, in that it has songs that the elderly in nursing homes can access easily.
